Subsidence
There are a number of causes of Subsidence: Tree root ingress, leaking drains washing away part of the foundations, prolonged dry hot weather affecting shrinkage soil, past mining works in the locality and consolidation subsidence (movement downwards) usually caused by inadequate foundaions. Our policy caters for homes that have been repaired to rectify subsidence damage, previously monitored for subsidence or movement, or in a higher risk subsidence area.

Supporting documents required

Criteria
Please note that the home must have had remedial works completed to rectify the subsidence damage over 5 years ago, without any subsequent problems, for us to look at providing a quote.
