Gound heave
An upwards movement of the ground beneath part or all of the building, leading to damage. Caused by the swelling of the sub-soil. Commonly caused by a removal of trees and vegetation or a leaking drain, increasing the level of water contained in the soil.
Supporting documents required
A Structural Engineer’s Report or a full Building Survey (also known as a Structural Survey), carried out within the last 5 years, detailing the cause, remedy and condition of the home relating to Ground Heave. Criteria
Please note that the property must have had remedial works completed at least 5 years ago, without any subsequent problems, for us to look at providing a quote.
