A year is a long time in the life of a website, or in our case it’s been 13 months since our last blog. The reason for the sizable gap, there has been so much else going on and this has contributed to writers block. Knowing that it is favourable to keep our site fresh with no content we’ve decided to write about our somewhat frustrating time and put it down in black and white.

Looking to the immediate future the insurance industry is gearing up for the introduction of Flood Re in April this year. No doubt this will have a big impact and we will be entering the blog arena once more to comment on this. Having previously been based in East Molesey, close to the River Thames and the River Ember we still have a number of risks on our books coming under the wide heading of flood risk.

Watch this space. As we have broken our duck and been busy typing again, you won’t have to wait another 13 months for the next Ember JD blog post – writers block permitting.
